SERBIA FASHION WEEK

Serbia Fashion Week was opened with a fashion show “Heroes with Oscar Wilde’s heart” by Srdjan Sveljo. The models walking on the runway wore masks which were taken off the portrait of Dorian Gray which was photographed 60 years ago.

During the second evening 10 designers from the country and the region were introduced. The second night was opened by Maja Krsmanovic whose show was opened by the actress Iva Strljic. Evening dresses featuring tulle and lace as well as breathtaking corsets, best described the theme “Mysticism”.

 

The evening was closed by Snezana Dakic fashion show which presented somewhat simpler and more affordable creations to the audience.

 

The third part of the Serbia Fashion Week show was opened by: Milos Miletic, Valentina Vidal and Ivana Garic, young designers from Serbia. They presented beautiful collections, mainly for formal occasions. In the second block, Dutch Designer Dair held his presentation dominated by the black creations with silk or lace for women and leather for men.

The evening was closed by fashion shows of Milica Trickovic, Danijela Bozic and Branko Popovic. Milica mostly presented formal dresses, which are all featured by handmade designs. Danijela Bozic has attracted special attention by brave and feminine combinations, where a wide range of materials emphasized the best on the models. Branko Popovic presented his men’s collection.

 

 

 

Very important parts of Sebia Fashion Week this year were presentations of the seminars that were raised to a higher level. One of the high couture members from France, whose costumes are worn in France Opera and many important events around the world, Eymeric Francois, talked about his beginnings thus giving the best example to seminar contestants as to how to be a renowned designer and what you can expect on that path.
